The Rams won a game in which Matthew Stafford threw 51 passes without a touchdown. Kyren Williams supplied two scores on the ground, and Los Angeles beat Philadelphia 24–20 on October 4 in Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season.

That contrast gives the result its shape. Stafford finished 32-of-51 for 317 yards, but also threw two interceptions. The yardage and completions show the volume of the passing game; the touchdown and interception columns show why the same performance cannot be reduced to that yardage alone.

Williams ran for 80 yards on 16 carries, an average of five yards per attempt. His two rushing touchdowns provided the scoring contribution absent from Stafford’s passing line. Puka Nacua caught nine passes for 125 yards, giving Los Angeles a substantial receiving performance alongside Williams’ work on the ground.

Philadelphia’s numbers offered almost the reverse picture. Jalen Hurts completed 12 of 27 passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Darius Cooper had just three catches for 33 yards, yet two of those receptions were touchdowns. There was scoring production in a much smaller passing-yardage total.

Tank Bigsby added 55 rushing yards on 14 carries for the Eagles. Philadelphia finished with 20 points, four fewer than Los Angeles. The Rams’ win brings the individual lines into focus: Williams supplied rushing scores, Nacua supplied receiving yardage, and Stafford’s 317 passing yards came with two interceptions and no touchdown pass.
