The Miami Heat beat the Toronto Raptors 129–105 in NBA preseason play on October 3, 2026. Two Miami performances offered a striking contrast with the result: Tim Hardaway Jr. and Pelle Larsson each scored fewer points than Toronto’s joint scoring leaders, but neither missed a field-goal attempt.

Hardaway scored 14 points, making all four of his shots from the field, including three three-pointers. Larsson added 13 points without a miss on three field-goal attempts or seven free throws. Those were two distinct routes to near-identical scoring totals for Miami.

Toronto’s RJ Barrett and Tyreke Key each finished with 15 points. Key made four three-pointers, while Barrett converted seven of eight free throws. Their matching point totals came with different shooting lines, too: Key made five of nine field-goal attempts and Barrett made three of nine.

The individual scoring comparison favored the two Raptors by a small margin. The final score favored Miami by a much larger one, with Hardaway and Larsson’s shooting accuracy providing two specific performances to take from the Heat’s preseason win.
